Glacier Basin Campground, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado
beautiful in their own way, it's just more to your taste, and we preferred the open, unobstructed sector of camp or slightly wooded sites that still offered views. Camp is set along a stream, which when snow melt is at its peak, can be heard from most sites. Immaculate restrooms, overflow parking, group areas, picnic tables, fire rings and nice tent pads are found within camp. A small shed where firewood, ice, water and ice cream can be purchased opens each evening. The park and the town of Estes Park are conveniently accessed via shuttles that run continuously throughout the day. Several trailheads also lead from camp.
