Devil's Tower KOA, Wyoming

KOA Kampgrounds are conveniently located throughout the United States and Canada. With literally thousands of KOA locations throughout North America, we've stayed at several during our travels and found that most tend to be situated adjacent to a highway. Although they usually offer many amenities that can be found valuable by some RVers, we have found that most KOA's are cramped, not as scenic as website pictures indicate, and tend to be overpriced. Of the few we've stayed at, we found Nashville KOA, Cheyenne KOA, Deadwood KOA, Devil's Tower KOA, Badlands/White River KOA and San Antonio KOA to be the best because of their more scenic grounds while still providing easy access to the city sights (via shuttle or city bus access). My advice: stick to a state or federal campground if you desire a true "camping" atmosphere, but if you need to do a load of laundry and give your wheels a rest, roll right into the KOA.
